Long story short, we cancelled Day 5 for many reasons. Jeremiah was gettin’ sick, traffic, driving and all the bull shit we encountered, wore me down a lot. I felt like we were wasting our time, nothing went according to plan. I called Amaar for advice last night and based on our conversation, I felt like it was better to just pack it up, go home and reload. LA is a whole different animal and I should’ve planned my trip better.
On the way home, we decided to hit up a publishing company. They were stationed in Porter Ranch, about an hour north of LA. These dudes looked like they were ballin’, the neighborhood had some real nice houses and I saw some real fly whips driving around. We came up to this big ass gate, looked like some Lord of the Rings type joint. They had crazy security, I bet even the cops get harassed when they try to come through. Basically, we rolled up, security asked me who I was, took my name down, called the office, and said nobody was home and to just give them the CD etc. Wether somebody was home or not, these dudes really screen who they work with and that’s very respectable
….I’m glad to be back in the Bay.
